The Sprout is St. John's oldest vegetarian restaurant and youngest at heart (est. 2005). Delight your tastebuds with their many vegan (and gluten-sensitive) options. With local beer, deadly music and lots of seats, it's a go-to crowd pleaser. Located downtown, they also offer late night taco/burrito/enchilada service Thurs, Fri, and Sat, until 4am. 

 

The Evening's K4M Menu

Starter

Xtreme Nachos - organic corn chips with your choice of toppings (pico de Gallo, jalapeños, bell peppers, mushrooms, green onion, veggie ground round, cilantro, black beans and corn, vegan or dairy cheese) and dips (chilli, refried beans, sour cream, pineapple or tomato salsa)

 

Main

Two tacos of your choice (small 6” tortilla, or large 10” tortilla) with a side of Mexican fried rice. They will be preparing two special tacos:

Bahn mi taco (with marinated house-made tempeh, pickled daikon and carrot, cucumber, sriracha nayo, jalapeño, cilantro) and the Chzbrgr taco (chz sauce, TVP “beef”, shredded romaine, secret sauce, white onion, dill pickle, toasted sesame seeds)

 

Dessert

Chocolate orange or matcha vanilla vegan ice cream served with a hot chocolate chip or ginger cookie, or brownie (crafted by our friends at Tulip Baroo), and coconut whipped cream. 

 

The evening's dishes can be vegan, or prepared with dairy cheese.
