Charity Beneficiaries
Proceeds raised by Kitchens 4 Missions will go to frontline mental health services in Victoria. Although mental illness is the leading cause of disability in Canada with one in five Canadian adults encountering a serious mental health challenge in any given year, only one third receive the help they need.

This is why we are pleased to announce our 2018 beneficiary will be the Greater Victoria Citizens’ Counselling Centre. This amazing organization offers affordable, accessible counselling to adult residents of Greater Victoria on a sliding fee scale, making help accessible to all.
​
A comprehensive hub for mental wellness, they offer individual counselling, couples counselling, and group counselling for those in our community trying to copy with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, addiction, or any number of other mental health challenges experienced by our friends, neighbours, coworkers and members of our Victoria family at large.

Operating since 1969, this amazing team have helped over 22,000 people and, with your support, will continue to meet the critical needs of countless Victorians suffering today.
